FIFA Women's World Cup 2011

This Wednesday 15 September at 09:00 CET, the Organising Committee officially began sales of individual tickets for all FIFA Women's World Cup 2011™ matches. Individual tickets are available from just 15 euros for first round matches, with the exception of the opening match, and the match for third place. "We're looking forward to what will be an occasion for the whole family. We won't get another World Cup on home turf for another 40 years," said Steffi Jones.

Of the 700,000 available tickets, over 270,000 have already been sold as 'Venue Specific Tickets' and group tickets. As with previous sales phases, the tickets are available on a 'first come, first served' basis via the official internet site www.fifa.com/germany2011. Tickets can also be purchased via the hotline 01805 / 06 2011 (€0.14cent / min from German landlines, mobile charges may vary).

To kick off the individual ticket sales phase, OC President Steffi Jones handed the FIFA Women's World Cup 2011 official mascot Karla Kick her own personal ticket at OC headquarters in Frankfurt.
