Take precautions and save themselves from cancer

Numbers of cancer cases are increasing worldwide. The American Institute for Cancer Research released eight step guidelines for the people so that they can take precautions and save themselves from cancer.
In the eight step guideline the last six are related to eating habits.
1. One should control his/her weight. The body weight should be within the normal range of body weight.
2. Do physical activities to keep your self fit.
3. Avoid sugary drinks. The energy dense foods that are high in calories, fat, and sugar should be taken in control.
4. Increase the intake of foods of plant origin, including fruits, vegetables, whole grains and beans.
5. Limit consumption of red meat and avoid processed meat.
6. Limit alcoholic drinks to one per day for women, two per day for men
7. Avoid moldy grains or legumes. Salt intake should be limited.
8. Intake of food should be aimed to meet nutritional needs through diet alone, without dietary supplement.
